The Montford Point Marines were the first African-American recruits to enlist in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II, training at a segregated base called Montford Point in North Carolina from 1942 to 1949. Despite facing racism and substandard conditions, these trailblazing Marines served in crucial WWII battles and paved the way for the desegregation of the Marine Corps by President Truman's Executive Order 9981. In recognition of their perseverance and significant contribution to American history, the Montford Point Marines were collectively awarded the Congressional Gold Medal in 2012.

Featuring combed and ring-spun cotton for softness, shoulder-to-shoulder taping for durability, and reactive dyes for longer lasting color, this will be the one you grab every time. Our tees give you just the right look through the chest and arms without being boxy and the 4.5 oz mid-weight American cotton gives you amazing comfort and breathability. Please refer to the size chart below for specs and we suggest you size up if you prefer a looser fit.

Solid colors are 100% cotton, and all heather colors feature a 50/50 cotton/poly blend with the exception of Athletic Heather which is a 90/10 blend.
